"A Liquid Rouge That Exactly Imitates Nature"
... or so
claims the author of this recipe. But, it's not far wrong! Dab on just
a bit-- you certainly don't need much at a time-- and then blot until
it reaches the desired shade.
If you get just the right amount on your cheeks, it creates a lovely rosy blush! And, it stays on very well throughout the whole day, but washes off easily with soap and water.
It yields a red with faint orange tones, suitable for those of a warm complexion. If your coloring tends more to cool tones, try our 18th century Red Paint for the Face.
A note on packaging:
All our glass bottles are shipped with a screw top to avoid spilling; a cork is included for your use once it arrives. The trial size does not come with a cork.
