Lavender Water
Despite the name,
lavender is not
the only scent in this perfume. The lavender blends wonderfully
with orange-flower water and rosewater to create a unique
scent
that you
won't find anywhere else.
It also apparently had some other uses in the 19th century; the following comes from Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, published in 1811:
