Nostradamus Rouge
Nostradamus: foreteller
of the future... and author of several cosmetic recipes!
This attractive rouge comes from an English translation of Nostradamus' work, and gives a lovely blush to the cheeks. The color comes from alkanet, a plant whose roots have long been used to color both skin and cloth.
It washes off easily with soap and water, or makeup remover.
Unlike our 18th Century Liquid Rouge, this uses a base of oil rather than alcohol, making it ideal for those with dry or easily irritated skin.
A note on packaging:
All our glass bottles are shipped with a screw top to avoid spilling; a cork is included for your use once it arrives. The trial size does not come with a cork.
